Why We Go To School; By Carolyn

 We go to school because we are required  by the law and to learn about writing, math and social studies, p.e, art and more. Another reason we go to school is to get a good eduction so we can go to college and get a good job. This will help us be a successful part of society, raise kids and have a nice home. If I don’t go to school I will not be able to get a good job as a teacher and  give my kids all they deserve and get the tools for life. If you don’t go to school to get an education your goals won’t be reached. For an example my coach Vlad is from a war-torn  country called Serbia, if he didn’t go to school he would never be able to come to America and work for his goals. Now  he’s getting his masters degree all because he went to school! 

     We go to school because we need to know math to go on in life. Math is used everywhere you go. Math used in cooking, making stuff out of wood and measuring. If you didn’t know math life wood be very hard you couldn’t cook so you can’t make dinner.        

    Another topic we learn in school is social studies. Social studies is very important part of school. If we didn’t learn social studies we wouldn’t know the 3 branches of the government. We wouldn’t know the capital of the states and the history of the U.S.A! If we didn’t take social studies  it would be very hard to vote because you wouldn’t know whats going on in the voting world. Social studies is very important because we would need to know how many people are in the supreme court because we wouldn’t know why its there.  

    If we didn’t go to school we couldn’t write. Writing is very important because it will teach us grammar punctuation and writing skills. What if you wanted to become a writer? If you didn’t go to school you wouldn’t know the grammar and punctuation that a book needs. You write every day of your life in school or at home, writing a report or a letter you write all the time. Writing is a important subject in school and in real life.      

            In conclusion, school is a very important place  and we go because its a place to learn and get the tools of life. School is required by the law but it is a fun place to be. In my opinion you should have a choice if you want to go to school. I feel that by going to school I will have a better life.
